Cinema Strange:

Sin dudas, la banda mas importante y popular del genero en la actualidad, y una de las que mas hizo para que el deathrock vuelva a los primeros planos. Oriundos de California, se formaron en 1994. Sus shows son muy teatrales, con proyecciones de films producidos por ellos mismos. Sus influencias ( y esto es una apreciación personal) podían vincularse con Virgin Prunes y los Christian Death de Rozz Williams. La banda fué fundada por los hermanos Ribiat, quienes cuentan con estudios formales de música clásica y teoría.
